My work involves the design; manufacture and siting of sculptural steel artwork. It often entails my interaction with various community groups. Having lived in Sunderland all my life, I feel I am in a position to understand the hopes and aspirations of the people in the area.

I have worked in numerous locations in the North East of England producing site specific sculptural pieces for various outdoor settings; history, location and the intended site have a bearing upon my work. When creating site specific artwork it is important to ensure the work is robust as well as aesthetically pleasing and thus goes towards creating a more desirable environment.
